WE ARE RECRUITING!
Would you like to be part of the team at our busy and friendly Stores? We are recruiting for 2 part time cafe assistants. Closing date for applications 16 May. Please see our News page for more information.
GRAND PLANS FOR THE YEAR AHEAD
There are exciting plans afoot! We have been granted planning permission for an extension to our cafe. We hope to start building in the Autumn, with our new larger cafe in operation from 1 November. But first we need to raise £90,000. We are hoping to raise the funds via donations and share purchases. Please see our News page for more information.
CAFE REOPENS 12 APRIL
From 12 April, we are allowed to operate our outdoor cafe. We are looking forward to welcoming back all of our customers. We are allowed to use the marquee as an outdoor space (provided that the sides are rolled up), so there will be a little protection from the elements.
Also, from 12 April we will be operating slightly longer hours on weekdays, moving to 8.30am – 4pm opening and on Sundays, 9am – 2pm.
GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
New Extended Opening Hours – from 12 April we are able to welcome back some of our volunteers and can therefore extend our opening hours.
Our revised opening hours for the shop and post office are therefore as follows:
Monday – Fridays: 8.3oam – 4pm (post office closes at 3.30pm)
Saturdays: 9am – 4pm (post office closes at 1pm)
Sundays: 9am – 2pm (post office closed)
The outdoor cafe is now permitted to open again and we will be serving light snacks and lunches alongside a wide range of hot and cold drinks.
We have implemented social distancing measures allowing a maximum of 3 customers at a time in the shop and Post Office to ensure we keep our customers and staff as safe as we can. Thank you for your patience in queuing. We have a red/green light by the entrance which shows when you are good to enter.
